One important thing that you need to know; not all skinheads are racists. The film is taking place in the summer of 1983, a summer that changes a lot of for Shaun.

1. Our first impression of Shaun was that he was brave. We liked him at the beginning of the film when he was himself and stood for what he thought.

Good answers! I think the discussions went quite well today. Most of you really tried to talk in English and it was fun to listen to. However, the film was not taking place in the 1800s, but in the 80ies.

8. We think they're jealus. If a person looks in certain way, it's easier to put them in a compartent. If you have a more "natural" appearence, you have more chances to show people who you are, because they don't have any prejudice.
